Archimed ECM

Archimed ECM (Enterprise Content Management) is a flexible Client/Server solution, based on a wokfow automation tool for highly complex environments, where project management, documents tracking and information should be managed in a highly efficient, transperant and predictable way. Archimed ECM helps to effectively manage tasks in large corporate and administrative structure, and is able to capture and manage, change and optimize all workflows in ogranizatsiyata or structural units.

The main advantages of Archimed ECM:

  • Process-oriented approach to managing workflowa;
  • Fully parametric system with flexible definition of random processes for managing document flows, events and tasks associated metadata, templates, etc .;
  • Flexible tools for managing events and tasks;
  • Great opportunities for indexing and searching, including searching in a federative system for external data sources (databases,  file structures, Big data);
  • Rich and powerful tools for integration with external systems and components developed through an application programming interface (API);
  • Proven in practice solution with rich functionality and based on advanced technologies and open standards;
  • High level of security, reliability and performance trough enreprise architecture.

Archimed ECM system architecture

Archimed ECM is a three-layered application - client layer, application layer and data layer. All data (knowledge base) are stored in the system management database (DBMS) in the data set, and the interaction between client applications and the data set is performed only by the application layer of the system. Not allowed is any situation, in which the client application works directly with the data, ensuring maximum application of necessary security policy and restricting access to data. All business logic of the application runs on the application server, while client part of the system is essentially limited to the management functions of the user interface.

ecm architecture

Archimed ECM offers tremendous opportunities for scalability in terms of performance.

  • Support clustering of application servers
  • Distributed data warehouses with plans for information exchange.

Through these two mechanisms for scalability is achieved arbitrarily complex topology information system with virtually unlimited number of users and load.

The scalability of the system is measured by the amount of information that can be processed by the system per unit of time. With the increased number of simultaneous users, the volume of processed information must increase proportionally while preserving a reasonable time for implementation of the operation. That is, the system has to cope with the growing workload. Below in this document are given specific information on the scalability of the platform and the application of different mechanisms for increasing productivity in critical loads by implementing a large number of transactions of large numbers simultaneously (parallel) active users.

Archimed ECM offers many flexible adjustable reference with options for grouping and filtering the results by arbitrary metadata to objects and / or related objects, without limitation, the amount of objects falling in the results of searches in order over 10 million facility. A small part of the standard adjustable reference system are:

  • Secretary diary;
  • Delivery sheet;
  • Diary recorded resolutions;
  • Documents awaiting response;
  • Overdue tasks;
  • Overdue tasks;
  • Monitor status;
  • And many others;

Besides standard reports and queries in the system are possibilities for compiling the necessary reports and statements and achieve full BI (business inteligense).

Ad-hoc reports

The generation of ad-hoc reports is a standard feature of the system. The composition of the proposed decision, unless previously developed references will be included "Console reports", which is a flexible interactive tool for creating ad-hoc reports. It allows fast and visually generating reports from the client application, as users do not need to have any programming knowledge. Using the Console reports can visually construct an unlimited number of records.

Archimed ECM API

Archimed ECM offers a mature and fully documented application programming interface (API) with the ability to manage all the main functions for managing processes and related content. The main functions of the application programming interface (API) to allow the system to perform the following basic actions:

  • Creating, processing and exchanging data in different formats;
  • Access to all objects in the system with their main parameters and methods of manipulation;
  • Support different protocols for data exchange;
  • Support different methods for interacting with external systems.

integrationArchimed ECM offers two main options for integration with other systems, allowing to cover a wide range of tasks:

  • Server Side Integration - enables integration with other systems providing or accessing the data available on the server system. Here, for example, can integrate Plug-In modules for data extraction for full-text indexing of documents with unusual formats, build a federal search other databases or file structures, implementation of internal administrative services within the e-governance systems and exchanges documents through document exchasnge hub.

  • Client Side Integration - suitable for integration with systems available on the workstations of the users. Here, for example, can indicate integration with e-mail client Outlook, a package of Microsoft Office, as well as specialized hardware and software systems, installed on the user workstation - recognition system forms (FormOCR) for automatic indexing and metadata filling , bar code scanners, document scanners, multifunction network devices, etc.
